Light Summer Schedule
Our summer can be quite short in Vermont; our fall is crisp and beautiful, winter sports are a blast, and mud season always brings a phenomenal sugaring season – but our summer days seem to pass by in a blink of an eye. It is a time to get out of the studio and enjoy everyday asanas and maybe even some outdoor yoga! I look forward to practicing with you this summer as well as running into you at the Farmer’s Market and local campgrounds.
During these summer months I will be maintaining a lighter schedule as follows:
Throughout the summer, you will still find me at The Edge off Kennedy Drive on Mondays at 9AM. A beautiful studio indeed, this class is designed for those looking to work up a sweat utilizing their breath and movement to challenge their practice. Challenges and modifications are offered for poses.
I will also be teaching an Outdoor Yoga class at Albert D. Lawton Middle School on Wednesday evenings at 6:00PM. One of my favorite aspects of the warmer weather is the ability to enjoy yoga outside as it can be a very relaxing and grounding experience. Any age, ability or level is welcome to this class as both modifications and challenges will be offered. You can register for the session through the Essex Junction Recreation Department, use your Aspire yoga punch card or drop-in.
And, last but by no means least, I will continue to teach Gentle Yoga at The Edge off Eastwood Drive on both Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10AM. For those looking for a place to start yoga or are interested in finding a place where they can truly decompress, this class is not to be missed. Like all of my classes connecting with our breath in class, is the foundation to everything we do.
Currently I am not teaching a specific Yoga for Runners class, however if you are interested in creating a private class for yourself or a group of people please contact me.
I hope the lightness of the summer transcends to your own yoga practice whether it is enjoyed at home or in the studio, and of course on your mat, as well as the many everyday asanas you enjoy off.
~The divine in me salutes the divine in you, Namaste~
