Keep your Practice Strong and Join Me on the Mat in March!

This month in addition to my regular classes I am very excited to be teaching a FREE Adult and Child Partner Class with my daughter at Athleta.  When I initially received my ChildLight Yoga Teacher Certification I was eager to further share my love for yoga with my own children.  Each time they choose to join me it creates a very memorable experience for me (and hopefully for all who join us!)
Additionally, I have had several requests for a Dharma Yoga Wheel class to build upon the workshops I have been teaching the last couple of months.  I will be offering a “Pop-Up” class at Peace of Mind Pilates that will focus on learning how to flow with your wheel in a full practice. (This class is appropriate whether or not you have tried the wheel before.)

Sunday, March 11th

Plan to spend Sunday morning with your daughter at Athleta! Join my daughter and I for a FREE morning of yoga and discounted shopping, including Athleta’s Girls’ line. Whether you are both brand new to yoga or a mix-and-match pair, this will certainly be a fun event to be enjoyed together. We will explore partner poses (including an acroyoga option for those who would like to try) and benefit from some loving kindness and relaxation to finish our practice.
We will follow the yoga with a special shopping hour for attendees, including 25% off all purchases and raffles!

Dharma Yoga Wheel Pop-up Class at Peace of Mind Pilates

This will be a fun way to learn to flow with your yoga wheel (or borrow one of mine and learn to play with your yoga practice in a new way)! From those hard-to-reach places like the thoracic spine to your shoulders, hip flexors, and hamstrings, this is a tool for everyone and anyone looking to increase their mobility.
We have plenty of wheels to share, but space is limited so please sign up ahead.

Calling all mothers with toddlers! Have your toddler join us monthly for a Saturday 10am yoga class.  Class will be held in the large exercise room (not the heated pool deck).

Power Vinyasa Flow at SoulShine Power Yoga
Mondays and Fridays

SoulShine Power Yoga is wholeheartedly dedicated to the health, wellbeing and empowerment of our students.  In this moderately paced vinyasa yoga class all levels are welcome.  This class can work for beginners but has options for more experienced yogis/yoginis.  This class is heated to 95 degrees.

Yoga for Runners at Essex Physical Therapy

Poses, like toe pose, help us to stretch the connective tissue that runs from our toe down to our heel.

Mondays
6:15-7:15PM

This class is held around the pool deck and the temperature in the room is @88-90 degrees. The idea is to use the heat to open tight muscles we tend to repetitively use when we run.  However, this class is appropriate for anyone looking to stretch and relax their muscles.  This class will take place at the Essex PT Meadows location next to CVS.  Enter through the side pool door (around the back) of the Essex PT Building.  Don’t forget to bring along a bottle of water and hand towel!

Gentle Yoga at Peace of Mind Pilates

A great place for beginners as well as those looking to slow down their yoga practice.  This class is designed to accommodate all beginners – utilizing blocks, blankets and straps to find a stretch that is beneficial to all.  All levels welcome.

This class is a general yoga class, welcoming any age, ability or level.  Your interests help drive the content for the class.  Gain strength, flexibility, balance and breath in this class designed around your needs.  Both modifications and challenges will be offered throughout.  Feel free to let me know prior to class what you are interested in working on. This class is held in the Essex PT Meadows location next to CVS.  We meet around the pool deck.  Please enter through the side pool door of the Essex PT Building.  Don’t forget to bring along a bottle of water and hand towel.
